Hiro Mobile is a companion app for the Hiro desktop application. The desktop app finds and tracks your job applications; the mobile app lets you view them, update statuses, add notes, and trigger scans from your phone.
Yes. Hiro Mobile displays data produced by the Hiro desktop app — it has no standalone job-search features. Install and set up the desktop app first.
Make sure your phone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network. In the desktop app, open the mobile pairing screen to get the address, port, and pairing token, then enter them in Hiro Mobile. You can verify the link at any time with Settings → Test Connection.
Cloud mode syncs your applications through a Supabase project that you create and own, so your phone works away from your home network. The desktop app's setup guide walks you through creating the project. The developer runs no servers and has no access to your data.
Check that the Hiro desktop app is running, that both devices are on the same network, and that your firewall allows local connections to the desktop app's port. If the IP address of your computer changed, re-pair with the new address.
Yes — you can change application statuses and add or edit notes. Resumes, cover letters, and scans are produced on the desktop.
On your own computer, and — only if you enable cloud mode — in your own Supabase project. The developer collects nothing: no analytics, no ads, no tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
In cloud mode, go to Settings → Delete account to permanently remove your cloud account and all synced data. See the Delete Account page, or email us at wksunshine@gmail.com if you can't access the app.
